Beneficiaries
There are two main aims of the Matching 10K Run, firstly to bring together the local community to enjoy an organised 10K Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Run and secondly to raise funds for our local Matching organisations. Our main beneficiaries are Matching Green Primary C of E School and St Mary's Church Matching.
Aims and ambitions for our local community
This is our first year organising the Matching 10K Run and we hope to raise many thousands of pounds for our local community. Below is outlined who we intend to help.
In addition to creating a great community event, our primary aim is to raise badly needed funds to support two highly valued local causes:
St Mary the Virgin Church Matching
(for their restoration fund)
&
Matching Green Church of England Primary School
(for use to encourage sports and promote fitness/healthy lifestyles)
