Matching 10K CIC (Community Interest Company) has been set up with the sole purpose of establishing a community based 10km road race event.  We are affiliated to England Athletics and our Certificate Number is 7694029.

4th May 2026 was the inaugural Matching 10K Run

We're delighted to confirm we'll be back on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May 2027 for our 2nd Matching 10K Run!

The route takes runners through the beautiful rural landscapes of west Essex and East Hertfordshire communities.  It will be a truly unique experience, as this route can only be accessed on this one day.  Part of the run is on private land that will be opened exclusively for this race event!

We sold out all 500 entries on the day, and were delighted with the additional spectator numbers that supported and cheered along the runners.  The day worked briliiantly with the annual Matching Green May Day event on Matching Green.

We would like to thank all our 2026 Sponsors for their generosity in sponsoring our 2026 event and also to The Community Fund from Epping Forest District Council administered by Qualis for their Grant Award.  We look forward to hopefully welcoming them and new sponsors back in 2027.  Please view our Sponsor page for details.
